5” gutter is the most commonly used size for residential buildings.
6” gutter is typically used on larger homes or commercial applications.
Gutter Sizes
You will find the .032” aluminum we use is much stronger than what you would find at a home improvement store.
The paint on our aluminum gutters has a lifetime warranty against peeling, chipping or cracking.
Downspouts
We use 3x4” downspouts in most situations, but can use 2 x 3” in some cases.
The 3x4” gives significantly better water flow and is far less likely to be clogged with debris when compared with 2x3”.
4x5” is typically only used on commercial buildings or very large houses.
Our Most Common Sizes of Downspout
Most of our downspouts are .024 gauge aluminum, that depends somewhat on the size and color. These downspouts are much stronger and more resistant to dents than what many others use.
